- Most of the participants will stay at the hotel AdagioAccess/Zenitude

The hotel and the conference locations are easy to access from the railway station (gare Viotte). The TGV station (Franche-Comté TGV) is some 15 km away from the center and there are shuttles connecting the two stations (please check that your train ticket includes the shuttle if you arrives at the TGV station first). The tramway stop closest to the hotel is « Canot ».

We encourage registrations not later than January 7, 2015. After this date, we cannot guarantee your accommodation at the hotel AdagioAccess/Zenitude.

For participants who wish to look for a hotel by their own, the town center proposes several hotels (click here).

- The conference will open on Monday, Feb. 9 in the early afternoon (1:30 or 2pm) and close on Thursday, 12 at about 5pm.

On Monday 9/02, Tuesday 10/02 and Thursday 12/02, the conference will take place at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques de Besançon (LMB), room 316B

A welcome buffet lunch will be served on Monday at noon in front of the conference room.

On Wednesday 11/02, the conference will take place downtown, in the building next to the hotel AdagioAccess/Zenitude.

- Tuesday evening, a conference party with buffet will be organized at LMB.

A social lunch will take place on Wednesday, in a restaurant downtown.
Wednesday afternoon is free for discussions and visit of Besancon
(several suggestions will be provided).

- Travel information

If you come from any Italian town between Venice and Milan or from Rome our suggestion is to take the night train. Tickets are available at and they are usually on sale 2 months before the departure date (you should be able to find some good deals if you buy tickets in advance). The train stops in Dijon, which is just one hour away from Besançon, and there are frequent regional trains connecting the two towns.

If you want to try a plane the airports you should check are : Paris, Zurich, Basel, Lyon and Dole (it seems there are flights Dole-Nice). The train from Zurich to Besançon is likely to be less expensive than the one from Paris, but the total cost of the round trip is difficult to estimate "a priori".
